We go on about our lives thinking that we're emotionally stable, mature, and can pretty much tackle anything and everything standing in our way. And then life takes things into its own hands and gives us a nice little reality check. Turns out, we're the problem. Turns out, bottling up your feelings and refusing to show emotion is not the way to build a relationship. Ops, can you blame us? The world is a scary place and sometimes, a girl's gotta protect herself by turning off her emotions so no one will hurt her. Again, ops. 

 

Turns out, that all this craziness that you've been suppressing for years can one day burst out of you like a fountain of doom. As Taylor Swift once said, 'Hi… I'm the problem, it's me'. So here it is, there are two ways you can about it: 1. you can either feel sorry and helpless or 2. you can do something about it. You can accept it, learn from it, and move on. Consider this stage 1: Acceptance. In order to accept your own issues, you must own them. And in order to own them, you must laugh at them. There's no other way.
